YMCA camp cabin,Scottish-Irish Festival, Sept 10 2010

Hi all, I'm quite thoroughly crocked, from Al's wine to the Tawny port that Rob got earlier, to the coconut rum and orange juice that I'm drinking now. No whirlies yet but I'm working on it. Apparently I'm quite the riot when crocked! We arrived at the YMCA cabin about 2:30 or so today, and as happens every year, we were blown away by the luxury of our living facilities! Chance always does the room reservation here at the YMCA, and here year the room he gets us is a little nicer than the one the year before.

The first year we came up, it was the four of us (Rob, Chance, myself and Gene) in this little cabin at the Y consisting of two bunk beds, a closet and a bathroom. We were up half the night talking politics with Gene, and the walls were paper thin... The cheese d$&ck in the cabin next to us even wrote us a little note the next morning basically telling us that we were too loud. And all this was after Gene had us chasing after this boneheaded bimbo half the evening.

The following year were stayed at the same type of rook at the Y, except it was in a dorm-type building. The Y building wad like 4 or 5 stories high, and it was a good room, better than the previous year. But...again, Gene had us chasing after ANOTHER chickie, this time the girlfriend of a football buddy of his. She was pretty cool, but once again the net result was all of us running around Estes chasing after a female, just because one of us was a horndog.

Then last year, we chose to go up to the Scottish-Irish festival without Gene, and the result was a 100% improvement in the experience. Completely skeezer-free, and in an actual can in! I mean this place was BEAUTIFUL, 2 rooms and a full kitchen! We were blown away.

At least until THiS year. I'm sitting on a couch in the living room of the cabin we have this year. Bigger kitchen, 2 bedrooms but three beds (well 4 if you count the bunk bed in one of the rooms), our own cabin's wireless network, tons of room, and an actual balcony. Absolutely spectacular!
